To me, "leading my own life" now means that I know what decisions are better for me and I am able to trust myself to make the right choices.  It also means that I am informed enough to know ways that can help improve my life. This internship helped introduce me to many areas of life like finance and nutrition which will definitely help me feel more prepared as I grow into an adult and have to make important decisions.
