A Bit About Me
My name is Benjamin Quiles. I am a Milwaukee youth aspiring to be a filmmaker. I started working with Teens Grow Greens in Feb of 2022 and continued my work with them through the year of 2023. I eventually went on to join their Marketing Apprenticeship in 2023. During my time in the Marketing Apprenticeship I learned how to use a DSLR camera, edit and co-edit a video in Cap-Cut, how to use a wide variety of equipment to set-up and record a podcast (TGG Podcast Behind The Plants), and how to work and communicate better within a team. I have always had trouble communicating what I actually want to say; I feel that photography is my gateway out of the cycle of apathy and boredom. Because of my time in this Apprenticeship, I have been able to build my confidence, finding a passion in forms of digital media that I can use to express my ideas.
